LIFE SIZE Lightning McQueen in The Toy store
For this year Eid Al Adha holidays, we have prepared a special surprise for the Cars 2 DVD release. Children’s favorite race car – Lightning McQueen was displayed at The Toy Store and thousands of visitors came to meet and take pictures with the Cars 2 Superstar.
The LIFE SIZE Lignthing McQueen was displayed at The Toy Store Mall of the Emirates and at The Toy Store Ibn Battuta Mall for two weeks in November.

Me & McQueen Competition on Facebook!
For the Cars 2 DVD release we have prepared the ‘Me & McQueen Competition’ on our new The Toy Store page on Facebook. In order to participate to the competition, visitors needed to take a picture with the life size Lightning McQueen at The Toy Store and send the picture to meandmcqueen@gmail.com. All received pictures have been posted on The Toy Store page on Facebook and are still available for voting by Facebook users until end of November. The 10 pictures with most votes will be rewarded with amazing Cars 2 gifts. The competition will be concluded on 30th November 2011. The 10 prizes will be distributed to the winners in December 2011. Meet & Greet the Smurfs in The Toy Store
They are old, yet they bounce around like kids, they live in mushroom shaped houses and never grow older and kids LOVE them! They are the SMURFS and they were HERE!
The Smurfs had a Meet & Greet event in The Toy Store in Mall of the Emirates on Thursday, 8th September. During the 3-hour live event held in the evening, children, teens and even adults were entertained by two Smurfs characters: Clumsy and Smurfette. After the new ‘The Smurfs in 3D’ successful movie launch, this was a SMURFASTIC opportunity for children ‘of all ages’ to interact with these famous characters and have their picture taken.
It was a joyful and cheerful evening for many children and we are glad we gave them this amazing opportunity of live interaction. More live events with children’s favorite characters will be held soon in The Toy Store!
The Toy Store at Shoppiesta 2011
Shoppiesta, the first-ever annual consumer lifestyle exhibition in the UAE was held at Meydan during Eid al Fitr holidays, from 31st August till 4th September 2011. It was a five-day extravaganza featuring shopping, adventure, entertainment and festivities, with over 14 exhibitor categories from the consumer lifestyle segment, adventure zone, cuisines of the world, kids’ corner, musical concerts, carnivals and cultural attractions. This one-of-a-kind festival brought together exhibitors, entertainers and consumers, all in one location.
We were present at Shoppiesta with The Toy Store stand in a prime location at the Entrance B. All the kids’ favorite toys and characters including Cars 2, Ben 10, Disney Princess, Barbie, Hello Kitty were displayed among many others. The Toy Store stand was one of the most attractive stands of the fair, expecially due to Mickey and Winnie jumbo soft toys, the huge variety of toys, and branded signs. Children loved our Winnie the Pooh and Mickey Mouse jumbo soft toys. They were the main attraction of our stand, where parents were taking pictures of their children with these two favorite characters.

Since April 2011 we have introduced in all our Hallmark stores in the UAE our new in-store products catalogue.
With the new catalogue we improved the range of products available in Hallmark stores. Currently there are almost 100 products present in the catalogue, including trampolines, slide, playhouse, trikes, bikes, scooter, ride ons, construction toys, and many more products will be added soon. Ordering products through the catalogue is very simple and you will receive the chosen product delivered to your home for free anywhere in the UAE.
